During three weeks, artists explore their own relationships to vital resources such as land, fire, water, plants, food and communication, forging them into both established and imagined cultural representations.
In 2016, we are deepening our investigation of space, place and community, dedicating the winter session to spatial design and the summer session to performance art, directed by guest curators in art and architecture.

For three weeks, six creative professionals in art, design, architecture and cultural anthropology were in residency. The exhibition showcases their creative explorations and resulting projects.
Five renowned artists and culture professionals with a unique mix of talents, from intricately designed embroidery to monumental land art, will be in residency this Summer.
It is summer now, and the rain’s turn at the hacienda, settling the “creative dust”, replenishing our water sources, and clearing out the air for next year’s programming.
