This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally, both in your own practice and as a land steward. In exchange of living at the hacienda, each resident is asked to work 20 hours per week as part of our staff (choose from a variety of jobs: gardening, remodeling, forestry, social media, marketing, teaching, etc). You’ll develop a better understanding of land management for overall land health, as well as problem-solving and technical skills needed to manage land sustainably. The rest of the time you can develop a creative project or conduct research on a topic of your choice. Applications from teams of 2 to 4 people are encouraged. Does not include meals; residents must self-organize to buy and cook their own food. Up to 2 family members (partner and/or children) can accompany each resident.
2-6 weeks // NO COST (live-work exchange)
